Refund and Cancellation Policy

Thank you for shopping at New Majumder Jewellers. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review the following terms regarding cancellations, returns, and refunds.

Order Cancellation Policy

  • You are entitled to cancel your order before it is shipped. However, a cancellation charge of 2% of the order value will be deducted.
  • If the order is canceled after shipping, a deduction of ₹99 + 2% of the order value will apply.
  • Orders will be delivered within 7 – 12 days from the date of placement.

Buyback and Exchange Policy

  • Buyback and exchange are only available in-store and are not offered online.
  • Diamond Jewellery Exchange: We offer lifetime exchange of diamond jewellery with the original bill and certificate. Please note, no refunds are provided for diamond jewellery.
  • Gold Jewellery Exchange: All gold jewellery can be exchanged for 90% of its gold value.

Refund Policy

Our gold jewellery is eligible for refunds, but the refund will only include 90% of the gold value. The following charges will be deducted from the refund:

  • Making charges
  • Shipping
  • Insurance
  • Payment processing fees

Upon receiving the returned product in original condition, 90% of the gold value will be refunded to you.

Non-Refundable/Non-Exchangeable Items

The following items are not eligible for exchange or refund:

  • All silver jewellery and silver items
  • Silver showpieces
  • Laminated Pola
  • Imitation jewellery
  • Gemstones
  • Pooja items
  • Products purchased under promotional offers

Conditions for Returns

In order to be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The product must have been purchased within the last 5 days.
  • The product must be returned in its original packaging.
  • You must provide a video of the product being opened upon delivery to validate any claim for product defects.

We reserve the right to refuse returns if these conditions are not met.

Returning Goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us. We strongly recommend using a reliable and trackable mail service with insurance to ensure the safe return of your product.

We cannot be held responsible for goods that are damaged or lost during return shipment. Refunds will not be issued until the goods are received by us in original condition.

Refund Process

We will process your refund within 5 days of receiving the returned goods. Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the original order, unless otherwise specified. No additional fees will be incurred for the refund process.
